The WRITE Thing Workshops

  • Essays – January 21, 2010
  • Research & Reports – February 18, 2010
  • Creative Writing with Stories – March 18, 2010
  • Creative Writing with Poetry – April 8, 2010 – Please note change of date!
  • Morning Elementary workshops from 9:00 – 11:30 am
  • Afternoon Jr. High & High School workshops from 1:00 – 5:00 pm
    • Parents may attend entire workshop or just come in during the last half hour.
    • During the last half hour of each workshop Jeanne meets with the parents to go over what was covered in the student workshop, provide teaching information and assignment ideas for the writing unit.
    • Space is limited and pre-registration is required

A Homeschool Student’s Guide to the ACT Test – February 20, 2010 – Note: New Date!

The February 6th Homeschooler’s Guide to the ACT Test workshop is full! A second workshop is scheduled for Saturday, February 20th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  This still allows students plenty of time to prepare for the March 9, 10 & 11, 2010 MME tests.

Space is limited and Pre-registration is REQUIRED by Monday, February 15th.

  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Workshop fee is $40.00 per student
  • A full length ACT Practice test will be administered and reviewed.
  • Space is limited and pre-registration is required

All workshops  are held at the Home School Building,
5625 Burlingame Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
