Write Thing Workshop Comments
I can not recommend Mrs. Noorman’s workshops highly enough. My sons have attended several workshops taught by Mrs. Noorman, and the outcome was truly impressive. Jeanne’s enthusiasm sparked a strong desire to write in both of my sons. She is very encouraging and actively engages the students. They learned new writing techniques and then practiced them right there during the workshop. Jeanne also does a great job of understanding where each student is starting from and knows just how to provide a challenge that’s right for them. A lot of people can either write well or teach well…Jeanne does both!
My son summed it up well when he said “Mrs. Noorman is really nice. She makes the class interesting too. She takes a lot of time to encourage us and help us become better writers. Some teachers just tell you what you’re doing wrong, but Mrs. Noorman gives really specific helpful feedback and ideas for how to improve.”

ACT Prep Workshop Comments
Our son Josh took your ACT Prep class in February and also attended the follow up class to improve his writing. He does not perform well under pressure and was very pleased with his score. He felt confident and prepared after taking your class. Thank you for providing such a wonderful opportunity!

Thanks so much for offering the workshop which my son took a couple of weeks ago. I was so pleased to have him have the opportunity to take this practice test. It makes both him and me more confident and prepared feeling going into the actual test next week. I also appreciate the additional study opportunities you shared with us.

Newly expanded High School and College Prep workshops – I began presenting A Homeschooler’s Guide to College Prep four years ago. At every presentation parents would ask questions about how to do high school, so I added that information to the workshop. But there is really too much information to cover well in just one evening, so this spring I will be adding more important information to each section and offering them as two different workshops.
Previous attendees of Jeanne Noorman’s Homeschooler’s Guide to College Prep workshop may attend either or both of the new workshops, A Homeschooler’s Guide to High School and A Homeschooler’s Guide to College Admissions free of charge.
